Milwaukee Universal Life Church:
Welcome to the internet ministries of the Milwaukee Universal Life Church.
The beliefs of The Universal Life Church are as numerous as the amount of members we have at any given time.
Our Doctrine is simple. We, as an organization, believe only in that which is right. Each individual has the privilege and responsibility to determine what is right for him- or herself -- as long as it does not infringe on the rights of others.
Whenever you hear or read any of my sermons you will be hearing my opinion, not that of The Universal Life Church as a body. Each ULC minister has that privilege.
The Universal Life Church
and Its Ministers
... for ye have not chosen me but I have chosen you and ordained you before the foundation of the earth ...
(John 15:16)
The Universal Life Church believes that its ministers were ordained by God, according to the Bible, before becoming ordained ministers of the Universal Life Church. This is in accordance with the Scripture, John15:16, quoted above.
The Universal Life Church stands between the minister and the Federal Governments and between the minister and the state, not between the minister and God.
The Universal Life Church does not interpret or sit in judgment of aperson's beliefs, creed, religion, race, color, or sex. It has only two tenets, or basic beliefs. These two tenets are:
The absolute right of freedom of religion
To do that which is right.
The first tenet is in complete agreement with the First Amendment to the Constitution of the United States of America which says:
"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, orprohibiting the free exercise thereof: Or abridging the freedom of speech,or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and topetition the government for a redress of grievances."
The second tenet is also the essence and spirit of the Golden Rule in the Bible:
"Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets"(Matt. 7:12).
As ordained ministers of the Universal Life Church, we, your pastoral staff, are legally authorized to perform all ministerial services and sacerdotal duties such as:
